Our goal is to provide you with a supportive, relaxing, non-judgemental environment where you can escape the hectic demands of everyday life for a short time. We wish to facilitate a sense of well-being, nurturing, and relief from pain and stress. We strive to help you deepen your connection with your body*mind*spirit, integrating your whole self. Shiro Dharo A traditional treatment
that has been performed for over a thousand years. Rooted in Ayurveda, known as
"the science of life". The treatment involves running a stream of warm oil on
the third eye area of the forehead which creates effects deep in the brain. The
treatment aims to bring physical & emotional balance by rejuvenating the
spirit & preserving health. $85.
Gayle Spletstoser-Rice NCTMB, LMT
Gayle has been nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since
1994. Her area of expertise is Pregnancy, Labor-Assisted, and PostPartum
Massage. Gayle became certified in "Bodywork for the Childbearing Year" in 1996.
Her massage is an eclectic blend of techniques that include Lomi Lomi,
Accupressure, Polarity Therapy, and Thai Massage. Gayle also offers Therapeutic
Relaxation Massage, Pre and Post Event Sports Massage, and
Aromatherapy Massage.
Kevin Kai LMT Kevin has been
practicing massage for the past eight years. He has worked extensively in Deep
Tissue, Neuromuscular Release, Reconnective Healing™, and The Reconnection™.
Kevin also volunteers with the Springfield Symphony, Aids Project of the
Ozarks(APO), and Spayed and Neutered all Pets(SNAP). In addition to his
volunteer work Kevin is an instructor at the School of Massage Arts.
Shea Belke LMT Shea has been a
nationally certified licensed massage therapist since 2000. She uses a variety
of techniques including Swedish Massage, Shiatzu, Myofacsial Release, Touch for
Health®, and Reiki to meet your individual needs. Shea has an extensive
knowledge of herbs and nutrition. Her unique healing sessions help you restore
your body, mind, and spirit.
Phyliss Travis LE Phyliss has been a
licensed Esthetician since 1999 and is also a Reiki Master and an Aromatherapy
Practitioner. She has studied Aromatherapy in France with Dr. Daniel Penoel and
Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt. She does rejuvenating facials, relaxing Swedish massage,
Ayuvedic treatments, Reiki treatments, as well as a variety of other facial and
body treatments. She offers you "A quiet sanctuary of restoration."
Melanie Cantwell RN, LMT Melanie
enjoys blending various Healing Touch Modalities with massage techniques to
enhance relaxation and to provide the client with a sense of well being. Her
specialty is combining natural hot stones with massage to promote deep tissue
healing. She has been trained in Nursing, Massage, Healing Touch, and Zero
Balancing. Her aim is to strengthen and awaken The Mind, Body, and Spirit
Connection.
Stacy Polendo LMT graduated from
professional Massage Training Center in Sprinfield, Missouri in 2006. She wasted
no time after graduation and headed straight to the Bionomics Health Institute
to learn Applied Bio-Mechanics and Cranial Sacral Therapy, two modalities that
she considers to be her specialties. Applied Bio-Mechanics is a gentle, soft
tissue therapy that has been shown to alleviate pain while increasing function
and range of motion. Also experienced in Swedish Massage, Stacy can help you
achieve relaxation, well being, and therapeutic results facilitating the body's

Sally Larson ARRT, ARDMS, & CYT
Sally's medical background of 21 years provides a fondation for her
continued learning path of health in the discovery of what has been available
for 3000 years...and that is called yoga. Since 1998, Sally has studied
primarily Iyengar Yoga. She has studied under Judith Lasater and has received
Judith's "Relax and Renew" certification in addition to completing five other
teacher's training workshops. Sally has also studied with world leading yoga
teachers Gabriel Halpern and Aadil Palkhivala. Sally has also completed a two
year apprenticeship with Loa Freeman. She offers private yoga classes as well as
group classes.
Melanie Coffman NCTMB, LMT Melanie answered her calling to the Massage Arts in 2001. While her main focus has been in therapeutic relaxation massage to de-stress and promote healing and serenity. She also offers deep tissue and myofascial release sessions for those needing more specific therapy. Her knowledge of Neuromuscular Facilitation to release tension held around the spinal column and neck area compliments the body's natural ability to heal.
